• Lead/managed design team for VIACOMCBS’s Sales & Integrated Marketing teams with 7-13 FULL-TIME direct reports, (in

addition to contractors and freelancers) whom I helped grow professionally and personally.

• Developed best practices, defined design direction/templates/approach, and set guidelines for all rich media ad campaigns,

native ad campaigns, social media ad products and Branded Content campaigns used on all of PARAMOUNT AND CBSI’s

Business Units and verticals including: CBS.com, CBSSports.com,

CNET.com, Chow.com, Gamespot.com, TVGuide.com, PARAMOUNT+, ET, BET, NICKELODEON, MTV and more.

• Re-defined the Pre-Sale/RFP process for all of CBSI’s sales teams:

• Concepted and created templates for all presentations, company wide, both internal and

client facing utilizing both traditional presentation methods like PPT as well as new solutions like Prezi, Storied, etc.

and trained the sales team on best practices in using the templates.

• Ideated and executed high end one-off custom presentations for high priority pitches

and high level communications.

• Leveraging motion graphics skills of myself and my team, I introduced the practice of delivering high impact animated

mocks for RFPs that won millions of dollars in business, and has become a company wide practice.

• Helped to build and launch CBSI’s in-house Branded Content branch, “Studio 61”

• Concepted, sold through, and created original branded content campaigns that ran across multiple media types,

including custom high level video production, animated infographics, original editorial stories, photo galleries andmore.

• Visually defined the pre-sale presentations for all of our branded content pitches.

• Oversaw and orchestrated creative direction of branded content campaigns, both in-house and through contractors

• Created and implemented all design/developemnt standards for Native Ads acorss all of CBS’s Business units.

• Originated all motion graphics, and interactive media for CBS’s internal marketing efforts for live events including booth + colatteral design, Events included CES, E3, PAX, Detroit Auto Show, Cannes Film Festival, SXSW and more.

• Worked collaboratively and directly with the heads of Marketing, Sales, Product and the CEO in developing strategic creative

solutions for the challenges CBS faced.

• Served as go-to animation & data visualization team/resource for CNET editorial team for custom executions.

ART Director - Astone Agency; San Francisco, CA

March 2008 - August 2010

• Lead Designer at 4 office/location agency, in charge of all interactive and video projects, as well asmuch of the print design.

• Quickly became the go-to interactive guy four offices of Astone, contributing to ongoing projects and accounts, and also new business opportunities’ RFPs.

CREATIVE Director - ABB RECORDS/ATLANTIC; OAKLAND, CA

January 2005 - July 2008

• Completely re-branded long standing Atlantic Records subsidiary company via total visual brand overhaul and introduction/ramp up on new media technologies:

• Developed the visual branding for the record label encompassing many media platforms including online applications, videos, album covers, posters, flyers, ecards, banner ads, wallpaper, buddy icons, and HTML newsletters..

• Collaborated directly with CEO, Marketing Director and Director of Sales, and lead a team of 4 designers to create compelling visual campaigns in promotional efforts for music releases.

• Redesigned entire web site, incorporating flash and emerging technologies to include interactive features such as an online retail store, widgets, ecards, surveys, and contests.

2002 - December 2004

• Reorganized production pipeline and led design team in the execution of in-house and client web, print and video development and 2D/3D animation.

• Managed direct client relations to deliver quality artwork resulting in solid relationships and continued business.

• Coordinated and directed multi-tier visual media campaigns. Edited videos using Avid for Fortune500 corporate clients.

• Directed and managed creative personnel, programmers and third party vendors to ensure projects were completed on time and budget.

• Accounts/projects included: VISA, Carl Zeiss Vision, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Wendy’s, Original Roadhouse Grill, Daphane’s Mediterranean Grill, California Earthquake Authority, Sacramento Airport, Clickability and more.

• Conceptualized and developed fully functional site for California Bureau of Automotive Repair(drivehelathy.com) which won gold at the 2009 Sacramento ADDY awards.

• Ideated and executed thousands of branding and marketing campaigns that reach across media platforms,social etc.

• Worked with teams of illustrators to create cultrally impactful, high profile animated music videosand corporate industry animations.
