Animated video for Iron Wigs ( Vic Spencer, Sonny Jim, and Verbal Kent ) for Mello Music Group

Conceptualized, illustrated and animated 30 minute fully animated film for composer Adrian Younge's 2016 album, "Electronique Void". An additional challenge for this project was that it had to double as visual accompanyment for his live show. Therefore it had to be a standalone narrative as well as an ambient accent.

A never been done before seamless video presentation I created for CBSi's Studio 61's presentation at the 2017 IAB branded content summit. The presentation was a huge success, with the IAB saying they'd never seen a presentation like this before. While everyone was clicking through traditional start-stop Powerpoints, Studio 61 brought down the house with this 3d fly-through seamless animation. I ideated this solution, designed/animated it, and built it. 

Worked with CBS Marketing Department to concept, design and animate party visuals for CES 2015 CNET afterparty with Snoop Dogg.

This 6 infographic series for Microsoft, part of an overall multi-million dollar buy, was to illustrate Microsoft cloud solutions in a way that would be more impactful than your everyday b2b blah blah. 

I conceptualized and executed "low tech" hand drawn stop motion treatment of CBS Interactive's web properties. It currently is displayed in the lobby of every CBS building. 

In a rare instance, the client (Comedy Central) loved the RFP so much, they had us use the creative I built, instead of their own team. I proposed it, sold it through, and made it a real thing in the wild.

One of 4 seasonal infographics purchased by Coldwell Banker. I designed them, and oversaw the design/art direction/copywriting of all native and social drivers, ensuring a cohesive and effective visual campaign. 

Achieving a 10 year need, I was able to design and implement a powerpoint template for all of CBS Interactive’s sales teams. This was an extremely versatile document, enabling the most junior of sales people could create a well designed presentation, with expedited efficiency. Users can switch between CBS’s entire robust portfolio of brands with literally one touch of a button. This has directly enabled and streamlined cross-bu selling, and consultative selling. One of my most heralded achievements at CBS.

Killing the dinosaur of PowerPoint, I developed many custom pitches at CBS, that broke the traditional "stop and start" style of presentation to create a seemless, cohesive presentation that also served as a high-impact leave behind - especially on mobile. Here is one for Royal Caribbean.

Ideated a way to make the somewhat dry B2B topic of cyber security more interesting and appealing by integrating sporadic animated pieces in 60's Saul Bass Style. In addition to the concept, I completed all initial design/title cards and animations of the first piece and led my designers in creating the pieces alongside me for remaining 2 videos. The client loved the idea so much, they ended up using that design style for many of their following non-related ad campaigns. Coincidence? I think not. :)

Designed and built custom branded content page for Motorola's MotoMods campaign from wireframe to full build. This page was in response to a need to devise an engaging method of housing and displaying a 6-video series of branded content pieces for Motorola, by Studio 61, CBS's branded content arm. The page utilizes scrolling reveal functionality and autoplay video to create a cohesive experience, leading the viewer from one video to another.

Leading the Sales and Native/Branded Content Design team (Studio 61) at CBS Interactive for the last 6 years, I have redefined the visual approach to all pre-sale materials. This includes re-designing all sales deck templates (PPT) company wide on all CBSi B.U.’s (CNET, Gamespot, TVGuide, CHOW, LAST.FM, ZDNet, CBSSPORTS.com, CBS.com etc), and leading innovation on non-linear presentation methods to move on from the restraints of powerpoint.

As properties are evolving their idea of a "takeover" past that of static skins, new possibilities have emerged in telling a truly immersive story. One of those that I helped to usher in at CNET was that of the video wall - a video treatment that couches the content of the page into the middle of the visual experience.

I conceived and executed an animated opening for "Modern Kitchen" on Chow.com. 

For the last 6 years I have been responsible for the design, quality control and user experience of all ads that ran on CNET.COM, GAMESPOT.COM, TVGUIDE.COM, CHOW.COM, and all other CBS Interactive properties, leading the sales design and branded content team, dancing the line between keeping the advertisers happy, and maintaining site-side integrity and brand voice.

As Sr. Art Director at CBS interactive, I helped re-think and define how the mobile versions of CBS's web properties displayed and distributed ad products, and best practices for pitching and selling through mobile ads. This includes managing/selecting emerging technologies to be used, user experience and overall art direction/design while maintaining the integrity of the brand and reaching the goals of the advertiser. I helped to evolve CBS's mobile ad offerings from static ads to those that were expanding, interactive, animated, and engaging. I also helped determine best use cases for native ad integration on all pages of CBS's mobile sites, as well as for display of branded content (video, articles, and infographics.)

I delivered an animated mock of a scrolling takeover for P&G as an RFP, and the client liked it so much that they bought it as is, as a part of a 2 million dollar buy. As a result, I built it and it went live. It was a huge victory. 

I became the primary asset for sizzle reel creation throughout CBS's internal network. Scroll below to see a few.
